Your-Ad
Logo: The
minimum purchase is a 10x10 pixel "block" at $50 each, and the maximum
purchase is as much space as you want. We recommend a minimum
ad size of 2 blocks X 2 blocks to make your ad "visible".
Your-Name:
Please support our Website by donating $50 or more. We will
place your name in unused blocks between ads using a minimum of 2
blocks.
When
you 'buy' blocks you will not 'own' any part of the ad-page or
this site, but rather you are granted the right to submit an image
and link which will then be published on the ad-page.
You
cannot change the image or link once we have accepted them. The
only exception is if you have a strong reason why you need a change
to your image/link. For example, your site no longer exists,
major structural change to your site, lawsuits, etc. Requests must
be made via email.
Once
your image and link are accepted and published on the ad-page, you
cannot get a refund.
No
obscene/offensive/adult images/links will be accepted, and we decide
what is appropriate for our site. If you submit an image or link
that is rejected, you will have the opportunity to provide an
alternative, otherwise your money will be refunded and you will lose
your blocks.
If your link
is accepted and you later change the content of the linked site to
show offensive/obscene/adult material then your link will be removed
until you provide a new one, and you will not get a refund of any
kind for the link downtime.
If in the future
you want your image and link removed from the ad-page, you
will not get a refund and the space will become publicly available
again.
Images must fit in the number of
blocks you buy, and we reserve the right to resize images to fit (1
block=100 pixels = 10x10 pixels).
Images must be in GIF or JPEG format,
and a reasonable file size.
Images must
NOT be animated.
Links must be to web pages only and
begin with http://
You must have the authority to provide
the image and link for the website you submit.
Funds must be fully received and
cleared before your ad goes live. Ads will remain on our
ad-page for a minimum of 1 year from the date it goes live.
Once you have ordered and the funds
have cleared (eg. in our PayPal or bank account), we will attempt to
get your ad online within 24-48hrs (but we make no guarantee
depending on our new ad volume).
PayPal is our preferred
payment method for purchasing blocks up to 40. However, wire
transfer may be used for very large ads (costing greater than $2000,
which is the PayPal limit).
Because the pixels are sold in $50 blocks please be sure you order
the correct quantity of blocks. Once you have paid for your blocks,
please send an e-mail to ads@winenews.com
with the following:
Attach
your image as a GIF or JPEG (must be correct size for the blocks/pixels
purchased or we will resize it to fit).
State
where you want your graphic to be placed on the ad-page (for example
"50 blocks across, 20 blocks down"). We reserve the
right to reposition your ad (by 1 or 2 blocks) if the placement
leaves only 1 unused block between ads or on the margins. If you have no
preference we will place the ad where we want.
State
the website you would like your graphic to link to (must begin
with 'http://').
State
the TITLE/ALT text you want for your image, up to 50 characters.
TITLE/ALT text appears when people hover their cursor over your
image.
